Benarkah Pria Lebih Sulit Minta Maaf?

Kata paling sulit diungkapkan selain “terimakasih” adalah kata “maaf”. Ilmuwan Kanada bahkan melakukan studi untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara pria dan wanita saat mengakui kesalahan.

Dalam percobaan melibatkan 66 sukarelawan (33 wanita dan 33 pria) selama dua pekan, peneliti mencatat tingkat emosi para objek penelitian. Hasilnya, para ahli menemukan pria sangat kecil kemungkinannya meminta maaf, dan mengaku bersalah saat terlibat dalam konflik.

Sementara wanita meminta maaf sebesar 35% lebih sering daripada pria. Kaum hawa lebih rela meminta maaf untuk meredakan konflik. Tak hanya itu, penelitian ini juga mengungkap penghinaan kasar seringkali membuat wanita tak tahan, dan sakit hati sebesar 30% lebih daripada pria.

Para peneliti juga menemukan bahwa lelaki lebih kebal atas penghinaan daripada perempuan. Reaksi mereka atas serangan kejam lebih tenang daripada wanita.

Para ilmuwan itu menemukan wanita lebih takut menyakiti pasangannya. Mereka lebih emosional dalam meminta maaf, dibanding pria yang lebih cenderung rasional dan logis mengakui rasa bersalah.

Suasana kemping juga akan terasa berbeda karena perjalanan berkemah itu akan jauh dari bayangan berkemah ala tradisional. Tenda ini lebih dibuat senyaman dengan kamar hotel.

Tenda unik ini diluncurkan tahun ini. Tenda tersebut disewa melalui sebuah situs di seluruh kawasan di Perancis dengan harga sewa 400 poundsterling per malam.

Menurut desainer tenda itu, Pierre Stephane Dumas tenda itu diciptakan layaknya sebuah pondokan biasa untuk malam yang tak biasa.

"Memiliki malam di bawah bintang atau menyaksikan matahari terbit bukanlah sesuatu yang bisa didapat banyak orang dengan pengalaman seperti itu," ucap desainer asal Perancis ini.

Dumas memberi nama untuk rancangannya itu dengan nama 'Bubble Tree' dan juga 'Cristal Bubble'. Rancangan keduanya itu dapat memberikan pemandangan 360 derajat dari daerah sekitarnya.

Minimalkan Iritasi Mata Akibat Abu Vulkanik

Abu vulkanik yang masih menyelimuti sebagian daerah di sekitar Gunung Merapi, Yogyakarta, masih menyimpan ancaman kesehatan. Selain bisa mengganggu pernapasan, abu vulkanik dengan berbagai ukuran ini dapat juga menimbulkan iritasi selaput lendir mata.

Meski tinggal berjauhan dari lokasi letusan, abu vulkanik yang tersapu angin juga bisa menganggu kesehatan mata. Partikel abu vulkanik yang kasar umumnya membuat mata terasa tidak nyaman, bahkan memicu iritasi. Kondisi ini dapat mengganggu penglihatan dan bisa menimbulkan infeksi sekunder pada mata. Gangguan ini akan lebih mudah timbul pada orang yang menggunakan lensa kontak.

Umumnya, gejala yang muncul diawali dengan kondisi seolah-olah ada benda asing di mata, mata terasa nyeri, gatal atau merah, mata terasa lengket, kornea mata lecet atau terdapat goresan, adanya peradangan pada kantung conjuctival yang mengelilingi bola mata sehingga mata menjadi merah, terasa seperti terbakar dan sensitif terhadap cahaya.

Kondisi ini bisa makin parah bila penderita menggosok mata, karena tak tahan dengan rasa gatal yang muncul akibat masuknya benda asing, yang dalam hal ini abu vulkanik.

International Volcanic Health Hazard Network (IVHHN), Cities and Volcanoes Commission, GNS Sains dan United States Geological Survey (USGS) memberikan panduan untuk mengantisipasi bahaya abu vulkanik. Berikut ini cara meminimalkan iritasi mata akibat abu vulkanik, seperti: 

- Hindari menggosok mata
- Bila terasa ada benda asing masuk ke mata, dapat dibersihkan dengan jalan mencuci (mengguyur) mata dengan air bersih. Lebih baik lagi bila menggunakan air masak. Kelilipan yang tidak terguyur dibersihkan dengan kapas yang dibasahi dengan air bersih terlebih dahulu. Lakukan secara perlahan agar tidak melukai mata.

- Selain menggunakan masker, kenakan kacamata surya, setidaknya untuk meminimalkan abu yang langsung masuk ke mata.

- Khusus pemakai lensa kontak, segera lepas lensa kontak untuk menghindari kerusakan mata permanen dari abrasi kornea. 

- Bila iritasi makin parah segera mencari bantuan medis untuk mengatasinya.

sudah bisa dipastikan nileku banyak yang masi kosong... aduh jaan,,gimana yaa?? aku tunjukin ke ortuku apa ngga yaa?? aku ngga berani.aku ngga berani bukan karena takut dimarahin. tapi aku takut mereka kecewa.

bu,,pak,, maafin eka yaa....
eka tau, eka blm maksimal belajarnya. eka masih seneng main. jangan salahin kegiatan yg eka ikutin. karena udah jadi konsekuensinya eka harus bisa bagi waktu. tapi sekarang buat manage waktu, masi keteteran. aku sadar,,aku blm bisa bagi pikiran,,ngontrol pengeluaran juga..

maaf,,eka sering nyusahin ibu+bapak. eka blm bisa bikin kalian bangga. tapi aku janji,, SOMEDAY AKU PASTI BIKIN KALIAN BANGGA.

tadi sore aku shock banget,,waktu denger bapak ditabrak orang. padahal baru beberapa menit bapak pamit pulang.biarpun sama mas dani udah dikasi tau bapak ngga apa2 tapi tetep aja aku khawatir. aku sempet mikir macem2,,saking khawatirnya. sempet nangis juga pas di kamar mandi.:( *puasaku dipertanyakan

syukur alhamdulillah waktu liat bapak ngga luka parah.


aku sempet nyalahin diriku,,coba aja tadi aku ngga minta bapak mampir k'kost. pasti bapak ngga kecelakaan. coba aja kmaren aku ngga ngrengek2 minta bapak k'pwt....
tapi,,Allah pasti udah nulisin takdir kalo hari ini bapak kecelakaan.

kalopun tadi bapak ngga mampir di kost,,mungkin aja bapak kecelakaan di tempat lain.
